Gig Alert: Spearmint Fur - October 7th at Rock Bar Melbourne Central Previous News: Juno single makes it North American debut in NYC We had some awesome news from the people over at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory at NASA where they are preparing the Juno probe which will be making an historic 5 year journey to Jupiter launching August 5th. Our song Juno was inspired by the probe and in fact Zadia contacted NASA to find out about the mission so she could finish the lyrics for the song. We just learned that the song made its debut on board the Intrepid Aircraft Carrier in NYC where it was played for all the scientists at NASA working on the Juno mission. This is such exciting news for us. One scientist said, “Well, I think this is an interesting example of how there are many ways to relate to a space mission. Some people enjoy just watching; some people feel compelled to be musical.” Thanks to Preston Dyches over at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for all your help and the wicked Juno items you sent us!! :) xx Juno the single available August 5, 2011 to coincide with the NASA Juno space probe launch.
